| 8 bars | The first lady advances and retires, then the first man does the same |
| 8 bars | Each lady passes in front of the man to their right, then two hand turn him ending one place to the right; then repeat to end in opposite place |
| 8 bars | All 4 ladies advance and retire twice, joining right hands |
| 8 bars | Each man passes in front of the lady to his left, then two hand turn her ending one place to the left; then repeat to end in opposite place |
| 8 bars | All promenade to places (head couples half promenade, then side couples repeat) |
| 8 bars | All couples chasse croise and set, holding right hands at the corners; then repeat back again |
| Repeat for each couple in turn. | |
