| 8 bars | The 1st lady advances and retires, then the opposite man advances and retires |
| 8 bars | The head ladies cross giving right hands; return with left hands, ending in a line diagonally across the set, without dropping hands |
| 8 bars | The head men take their partners right hands, all 4 set twice in a line; then turn partners to place |
| 8 bars | The head couples chasse croise, and set; then cross into opposite place giving right hands |
| 8 bars | The head couples advance and retire, then two changes of rights and lefts |
| Repeat for 2nd, 3rd and 4th couples. | |
