| 8 bars | The first couple lead around inside the set, ending back in their places |
| 8 bars | First couple advance and retire, advance again; the man retires while the lady crosses to the left of the opposite man |
| 4 bars | The first man advances and sets; the two ladies cross the set and pass each other behind him. |
| 4 bars | The first man retires back home and sets; the ladies cross again in front of him and return to their positions beside the second man |
| 8 bars | The first couple set towards each other, then two hand turn home |
| Repeat for 2nd, 3rd and 4th couples. | |
