| 4 bars | The first lady and her opposite advance and retire |
| 4 bars | The first lady and her opposite chasse to the right and left |
| 8 bars | The head couples advance and set, then pousette with their opposites around each other, ending in the middle |
| 4 bars | The head couples lead out at the sides and pass around to places |
| 4 bars | The head couples advance and retire |
| Repeat 3 more times for the other couples to lead, after the final repetition all 4 couples should chasse croise for 8 bars. | |
