| 8 bars | First and second couples move in (2 steps), four hands across (4 steps), fall back to place (2 steps) and repeat back again |
| 4 bars | First couple cast down one place while second couple move up and turn on the spot outwards. Four hands round left |
| 4 bars | First couple slow right hand turn (8 steps) |
| 8 bars | First couple pousette with the second couple, with a two-hand turn at each outer end |
| Repeat whole dance from progressed position | |
