| 8 bars | The first couple advance obliquely to the right, then to the left (with jete pas de bourre et pas de basque); piroutte, and retire to places |
| 8 bars | The head couples advance, then turn to face the sides; each right hand turns the person on the corner, end joining left hands with partners in two lines |
| 8 bars | Set in two lines then turn partners to places |
| Repeat for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th couple. | |
