Introduction and Honours (8 bars)
8 barsHead couples Chain des Dames
4 barsThe head couples advance and set
4 barsThe head couples retire and set
8 barsAll 4 ladies advance to the middle, set, and pass around their partners to the left
8 barsHead couples four passes of Rights and Lefts
8 barsAll 8 dance a whole circle to the right
Repeat for each couple in turn.
After the final couple has led, a grand promenade (8 bars) is danced by all four couples.
