Quadrille
Ninth Set of Quadrilles, by Edward Payne.

Introduction and Honours (8 bars)
4 bars	All four couples give right hands to partners and half turn, then set (ballote)
4 bars	All four return with left hands then set
4 bars	All eight join hands to form a grand chain, then balance
4 bars	Each couple take promenade hold and promenade one quarter of the way around the set
8 bars	The first lady and her opposite advance and retire and dos-a-dos
8 bars	The head couples Balance to partners and two hand turn
Repeat for each lady in turn, progressing a quarter each time, until all have regained their places
